Socratic by Google makes learning easier, whether you are stuck at homework, want to understand topics via visual guides, or much more, this is where you get all the resources.
Socratic is designed for Android and iOS OS; you can easily get it on handheld devices via Google Play and iTunes. Coming to the PCs/Laptops. the process is a bit different from the handheld devices.

Given that there isn’t any Windows or OS X version, you cannot install the app on PCs and Laptops, as you would on handheld devices. However, there is a way around it, you can use the Android version of the app and use it on your PCs and Laptops. And for that, you need an Android OS platform, which is where the Emulators come in.
Setting up the Android Emulator
For newbies, an Android Emulator is a virtual machine that emulates the Android OS. Think of Emulators as third-party apps that you can set up with the aim to create the Android OS platform that is needed to run Android-based apps.
- First, you need to download the Emulator file via the official website. You can follow our guides on Bluestacks for Windows or Bluestacks for Mac.
- If you have downloaded the .exe file, double-click on it to initiate the installation.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the installation.
- Next, set up the Emulator using your Google account. That’s it.
Install Socratic for PC and Laptop
- Launch the Emulator that you have installed on your PC or Laptop.
- On the home screen, look for the google play store (on Bluestacks you will find it under ‘system apps‘) and open it.
- Now search for Socratic via google play search.
- Next, click on the Socratic app icon and install it via Emulator.
- Once the installation completes, you’ll find Socratic under the ‘Apps’ section.

Note
